Scholarships: 1st place over all winner will receive:Full tuition and fees scholarship2nd place overall winner will receive:$3,000 room and board scholarship3rd place overall winner will receive:$500 book scholarshipTo be eligible: player must be in grades 9-12 and have a graduating GPA of 3.0 or above. Player must be accepted to WKU to redeem. Each scholarship is renewarble annually depending upon maintenance of college GPA of 3.0 or above and active WKU Chess Club participation. Side Event: SOKY G/10 Championship: Fri 4/20. 7 SS, rated. Prizes: $250, $150, $75, $25. EF $15 by 4/14, See Open EF for discount rate. Reg: 5-6:30 pm. Rds: 7 pm then ASAP.
